A designer outlines and colours a new print design onto paper. They carefully draw the design within a 7” square (the size can vary) and ensure that the print layout will flawlessly repeat over metres of fabric. Next – The block craver seamlessly carves the drawing into wood, creating a different block for each element of the design, which also represents each colour.
