Kilol is a popular design brand with its roots in Jaipur, Rajasthan.  Founded in 1986 by Mamta Mansingka, Kilol started as an aspiration to create beautiful textiles and sarees employing the centuries old craft of hand block printing fused with fine handloom fabrics sourced from traditional weaving centers across the country.

With a single printing table and one kaarigar (printer), Mrs. Mansingka began her journey to establish Kilol as one of the most important brands working with hand block prints.

USP

Hard work and patience- these are the two cornerstones of Kilol’s design ethos. Each product is pored over painstakingly at each stage- from weaving the textile, to carving the wood blocks for hand block printing, to the process of printing the cloth and then adorning it with delicate embroidery inspired by our craft traditions to cut and sewing the product. A Kilol product goes through many hands that add value to it at each step with utmost care.

Kilol stores are operational in 8 cities in India (click here to view our locations). Each one of our stores is carefully curated to showcase the best of our products which include Indian and ethnic wear, Western Wear, Sarees, Fabrics, Nightwear, Textile accessories and Home Linen.

 Roughly 80% of all our products are handcrafted at our own printing units in Jaipur where we practice and keep the tradition of hand block printing alive.
